Blue Tang

Blue Tang is a 1.5 year old tuxedo boy with a personality as bright and joyful as the tropical blue fish he’s named after. We first met him at the Humane Society of St. Thomas while visiting the island and he made sure we noticed him right away. He climbed straight into our lap, then onto a shoulder, and even stood proudly on a volunteer’s back to get closer and be seen over the other kitties. He knew exactly how to stand out and he completely stole our hearts.<br/><br/>Since arriving in Virginia, Blue Tang has been an absolute delight. He spent his very first Christmas in a warm and loving foster home and has settled in beautifully. He is incredibly sweet, easy going, and full of gentle charm. Blue Tang loves to snuggle, happily soak up attention, and stretch out in sunny spots that remind him of island life. He has a wonderfully silly side too, complete with an adorable little derp and a tongue that often sneaks out to say hello.<br/><br/>Blue Tang does well with other cats and enjoys their company, but he has also shown that he is perfectly content soaking up all the love as a solo kitty. He has even been great with his foster brother dog, showing just how adaptable and laid back he truly is.
