Blue's Story

Blue<br/>6 years old<br/>Spayed Female<br/>Gray-Brown Tabby<br/><br/>Blue came to us after her owner passed earlier this year. Her housemates Ziggy, Milo and Max are all also in the rescue. <br/><br/>This beautiful girl has the most unique eyes, and a super dark tabby pattern. She's very friendly, curious, and loves to play on the cat trees in the rescue's main adoptable cat room!<br/><br/>Blue gets along with other cats very well, and even tolerates polite dogs. We think kids would be totally fine with her so long as they are gentle, and respect when she tells them she's had enough. She's definitely an easy going, cuddly buddy who'd like to watch TV with you on the couch.<br/><br/>In her previous home, Blue struggled with Asthma. Since coming to the rescue, she has not had a single asthma attack. We suspect her condition is triggered by dust or mold (her previous house was very old), so a home without carpet, and with good air filtration is important. As a precaution, a rescue inhaler will be sent home with her, just in case!<br/><br/>Blue's previous housemate Max (black cat) can join her in an adoptive home at no extra cost!

The adopter agrees to provide food, shelter and care for the above named animal(s) as a permanent member of their family. The pet’s microchip information will be kept current, and rabies vaccinations maintained. The adopter agrees to provide veterinary care as needed for the adopted animal(s), and to provide any special-needs care in the case of a disabled pet. The adopter agrees to obey all local ordinances and laws regarding pets. This is both on a state and a municipal level. Above all else, the adopter agrees to treat their adopted pet(s) humanely. Return Policy: Should the adopter become unable to keep and care for the adopted animal(s) for any reason, they will contact Sandy’s Sanctuary and Rescue, and arrange for the animal(s) to return to rescue. The adopter may not sell or rehome the animal(s) they have adopted, nor euthanize without quality-of-life related cause.
