Meet Blue
AGE: 4 years with eyesight in one eye only
WEIGHT: 9 lbs
Blue (AKA Blurrito, Blucifer, Bluey, BluBlu, Bluchacho, Blueberry) was rescued with his brother Neo from a cat hoarding situation in 2020. Neo has since been adopted, but Blue is still available.
When Blue was surrendered, he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and eye issues from inbreeding. He has overcome his upper respiratory infection, but his eye is permanently damaged. Other than that, Blue has been given a clean bill of health and has been living a very active life.
Blue is a very sweet boy once you get to know him. He is very food motivated and that is the way to his heart. He is a bit weird with new people, but he does warm up relatively quickly with enough wet food. He is selective with other cats, but if he likes them, then he will be best friends with them. He does not particularly like dogs, but he has adopted a “live and let live” philosophy.
Blue is a quirky boy. He loves pets and attention, until he does not. He only has 3 toes on his back paws and he does not mind playing dress up. Recently, we have been letting Blue explore outside little by little and we have found that it has calmed him down, so in the right situation, Blue could make for a good indoor/outdoor cat.
