He was brought to our favorite clinic, Community Spay and Neuter Clinic, at only 1.4 pounds. He was wet from the rain and covered in fleas. Thankfully, we were able to take this sweet boy in so he didn't have to go back outside. He settled in quickly, enjoying warm blankets, ear scratches, and lots of churus!<br/><br/>Blu is an absolute goofball. Playtime is his love language. He’s incredibly energetic, curious, and always ready for the next adventure, whether that’s chasing toys, zooming around the house, or initiating a wrestling match with his partner in crime, Gordy. Blu doesn’t just like to play — he lives for it, and it's impossible not to smile and laugh while watching this little fluff ball run around!<br/><br/>While Blu is full of energy, he’s also very affectionate. He loves attention, seeks out his people, and makes it very clear when he’s happy to see you (which is basically always). He is very vocal and will let you know when he isn't getting enough attention, or when he wants his breakfast. He rubs up against legs and will rub his face against yours to show his love. His purr is LOUD and almost sounds like a chirp! He’s confident, social, and full of personality, making him a wonderful companion for a home that enjoys interaction and play.<br/><br/>One of the most special things about Blu is his deep bond with his best friend, Gordy. The two met in foster care and have been inseparable ever since. They can almost always be found cuddled up together, grooming each other, or playing side by side. When they get the zoomies, they race around the house in perfect sync—it’s pure joy to watch. Their bond is truly something special, and Blu would love nothing more than to be adopted with Gordy so they can continue their lives together.<br/><br/>Blu loves absolutely everybody. He has been introduced to many people, cats, and dogs of all sizes. He runs up to new people/animals immediately and comes on very strong, with zero inhibitions. He just wants to love and be loved. He truly has a heart of gold! <br/><br/>Playful, goofy, and sweet as sugar - Blu, along with his best buddy Gordy, is ready to bring the energy, warmth, and love to his forever home. Could that be you?<br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website, lapcats.org.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.<br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
