Blossom's Story

Blossom is friendly, intelligent and has a sociable nature. She will engage with her human companion expressing affection by rubbing up against your legs and communicating with "meows!" In the beginning Blossom will be shy around new people and easily frightened of strange noises in her new environment but should overcome the timidness quickly with petting and handling her in a tender manner. Blossom is okay with being held in your arms and will rest on your lap for a short period of time. She takes to scratching away on a cat scratching post.

Blossom's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; she is accustomed to being around children. Blossom should do well with another cat; she showed sweet motherly tenderness to her kittens. Blossom is not enthusiastic about dogs; it may take a slow and proper introduction to accept a canine.

She is a 2-year-old American Shorthair that bloomed into a silver tiger tabby pattern, a round face, stocky body and thick coat. Blossom will keep flowering if you love her! Her adoption fee is $70.

To submit Blossom's adoption application, copy and paste the link: Adoption Application for Feral Feline Coalition

All adoptions are conducted by the foster following an in-person interview with the potential adopter. We have a booth most Saturdays at the Fresh Market in Ocean Springs and sometimes bring our adoptable cats there for everyone to meet! You can contact us at feralfelinecoalition@gmail.com. We interview people, determine if they are a good match for the cat and can be responsible pet parents.
