Shortly after Bloom arrived at Pet Pride, we began to see a new item lying around: a Peterson’s Field Guide to Birds. Where exactly this guide came from is not known, but we can say this: Bloom is endlessly fascinated by nature’s tiny flying dinosaurs. During the day, she heads to the catio for some up-close-and-personal bird watching, perhaps checking what she sees against that mysterious Peterson’s Guide. At night, she parks herself in front of the TV screen in the Community Room where bird videos play. Her interest and delight are obvious, making it quite impossible not to admire such an active and curious mind.
