Blondie's Story

***Update: Since living at her foster home for several months she has revealed herself to be "the friend to all cats". She loves our resident male cat, and a new foster who was very hard to win over. When the cats do not get along, she will run and jump between then, then smell their faces until they are calm. She is quick to diffuse any fight or disagreement. She would make a wonderful friend to a grieving cat that has lost a friend or in a home with a diverse group of complex cat personalities.

Blondie is a throwback to the sleek looking Egyptian kitty. She may look like she should be painted on some ancient pottery, but she also looks right at home lounging in your living room. Blondie was born in a neighborhood in Pontiac two years ago. Her colony caretaker looked after her and her 3 sisters, offering food and pets. When all 4 became pregnant in the coldest part of spring a kind neighbor caught her and secured a foster. Blondie and all her kittens survived and flourished. Blondie has since demonstrated she's ready to live in-doors with anyone! She is the LEAST complicated kitty her foster has ever known. She loves pets, making friends with your resident cats, and eating all she wants without gaining an ounce (making fat cats everywhere roll their eyes). She never coughs up fur balls or gets sick, she's extremely clean, and she is very gentle on household furniture. Blondie is fairly out-going and isn't the type to hide under a bed all day, although heavy footsteps and being carried can startle her. Starting out slowly, with lots of treats will win her over for life and reveal what a dream she is to live with.

Blondie has been sterilized, combo tested, age appropriately vaccinated and microchipped.

Interested in adopting ? Bottle Babies Rescue's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based rescue and require a adoption application submitted to us before any meet and greets are scheduled. Please keep in mind we get an overwhelming number of applications for each animal and we review applications in the order they are received. If you are approved, you will receive an email from us and a volunteer will follow up with a phone call to schedule a time to meet the animal and finalize the adoption. It's important you provide contact information for your landlord (if you rent), parents (if you live with them) and vet (if you have pets already). Omitting this information will slow down the review process and/or force us to skip over your application. All of our babies are spayed & neutered, Micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, Felv Fiv & heartworm tested. They will also be up to date on their flea meds, before they can go to their new homes. We highly recommend socialization and obedience training for all puppies. Every home is chosen according to the needs and temperament of the individual fur baby, we like to ensure they thrive in their home environment. If you are not chosen for a certain fur baby this does not disqualify you from applying for another animal in our care.
