Hi, I’m Bliss! I’m a friendly, fun-loving girl who enjoys attention, playtime, and just being part of the action. Whether it’s chasing toys or soaking up some head scratches, I’m always happy to spend time with my people. I also get along really well with other cats and enjoy the company of my feline friends here in the community cat room.<br/><br/>While I’m sweet and social, I do have my preferences—dogs just aren’t my thing, and I’d feel happiest in a calm, adult-only home where I can fully relax and be myself. At the Montgomery County SPCA, we are dedicated to finding responsible, forever homes for all the pets in our care. To that end, we have created a thorough adoption process which helps us achieve this goal. This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
