Say hello to the ever handsome Blink!<br/><br/>As you can tell by his sweet yet different little face our boy Blink has a story. He came to PBAA from Midland Shelter when he was a small and sickly kitten. He had a terrible Upper Respiratory infection that caused damage to his eyes. While the infection was treated and cleared the damage had been done and he no longer has vision in one of his eyes so he is partially blind. Blink is now about 3 years old. <br/><br/>Blink is a return to rescue as he was previously adopted and after a few years he begun to have some urinary issues so his owners opted to surrender him back instead of seeking veterinary care for him. <br/><br/>Blink can be shy and semi timid in new environments and like any cat, big changes can be stressful. His previous owners had moved and that set off a chain reaction of inappropriate urinating and a UTI. He was treated for the UTI but our vet believes he has what is called a stress bladder and will occasional miss the litterbox when he is feeling stressed out. He is now eating a vet approved stress urinary diet to keep his bladder under control and is doing great. <br/><br/>Blink is a sweet and chatty boy who thrives with other feline friends. He needs a calm and cat friendly buddy in his new home that he can play and cuddle with. He has been around dogs in the past but do to his vision issues he can be very timid with them and kids. Blink loves to be pet and will roll over for some belly rubs. He has not been tested with kids but would do well in a calmer household. <br/><br/><br/>Blink has snap tested negative for FIV, Felv. Has been neutered, fully vaccinated and is microchipped. He is litterbox trained and does well with his veterinary food.<br/><br/>PBAA only adopts local to Midland/Odessa Tx as we do not have the ability to transport at this time. We do have a $100 non refundable adoption fee with approved adoption application.
