When Bleu first arrived at All But Furgotten, he was a frightened little soul who had come from a terrible hoarding situation. We’re not sure Bleu ever knew much kindness from humans before coming into our care. He was extremely timid and understandably unsure of the world around him.<br/><br/>For Bleu, there was no rushing the process. He needed time, patience and, most importantly, a safe place to simply decompress.<br/><br/>Thankfully, Bleu found exactly that with a wonderful foster family.<br/><br/>Little by little, this handsome gray boy began to discover what life could be like. He has put on some much-needed weight, learned that toys are actually pretty fun, and made some feline friends along the way. But his biggest accomplishment has been learning to trust people.<br/><br/>And now? Bleu is even a snuggler!<br/><br/>He especially loves curling up on the couch with his foster dad—and apparently, they have become quite the football-watching duo. Bleu has discovered that there are few things better than a soft couch, a trusted human and a good game on TV. <br/><br/>It’s hard to imagine that the timid cat who once hid from people is the same Bleu who now seeks out affection and enjoys being part of a family.<br/><br/>Bleu still needs a patient family who will understand that trust is something that grows over time. But if his foster family has taught us anything, it’s that Bleu has so much love to give once he feels safe enough to share it.<br/><br/>He’s come a long way.
