Blaze & Shirley's Story
Blaze (orange tabby) and Shirley (brown tabby) were the last two cats we rescued from the Cumer Road Trailer Cat Project last year. When they arrived in July, they were terrified—reactive, lashing out, and completely shut down. We had originally planned to place them in a barn home, but they showed small glimmers of trust, and thanks to the compassion of our volunteers, we decided to give them a real chance.

Now? Blaze and Shirley are confident, curious, and super social! They’re thriving with the other cats and love attention from people—something we never imagined when they first arrived.

They would LOVE to be adopted together! We know they’d blossom even more in a forever home. Their ideal home would be quiet, patient, and free of dogs and small children.

If you’re seriously interested in adopting, please visit our website to apply to be considered. Not all applications will be approved!
https://www.nose2tailcatrescue.org/adopt

All of our cats and kittens are FULLY vetted—spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, combo tested, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.
