Ember climbed into the homeowner’s car and gave birth to five beautiful kittens: Cinder, Sparky, Blaze, Ash, and Hazy. When the homeowner discovered Ember and her babies in their car, they kindly began caring for them and reached out to us for help. Ember definitely chose the right garage that day.<br/><br/>Blaze is a gorgeous long-haired orange tabby with a soft coat, bright eyes, and a gentle heart. While he may not be the first kitten to rush up and greet new people, give him a little time and patience and you’ll discover what a sweet boy he truly is.<br/><br/>Blaze can be shy when meeting new people and prefers to observe from a safe spot before joining the fun. With a little coaxing and a few toys, his playful side quickly emerges. He loves batting toys around, wrestling with his siblings, and soaking up sunny spots for an afternoon nap. He loves climbing to the top of the cat tree and perching in the window to watch birds and the world outside.<br/><br/>Although Blaze may act like he’s too busy for cuddles, he can’t hide how much he enjoys affection. He’ll often try to wiggle away while secretly purring the whole time—especially when you scratch behind his ears or on his butt, his favorite spots.<br/><br/>Blaze would thrive in a patient home that will give him the time he needs to build confidence and let his loving personality shine. Once he trusts you, you’ll be rewarded with a playful, affectionate companion who is as sweet as he is handsome.<br/><br/>He must be adopted with another cat or into a home with a friendly resident cat, as cats are highly social animals that thrive with companionship. Having a feline friend provides comfort, enrichment, and healthy social development.<br/><br/>Blaze and his siblings will be ready to go to their forever homes after June 7th, once they have fully recovered from their spay and neuter surgeries.<br/><br/>If you're interested in adopting Blaze, please submit an adoption application at https://www.husshaven.org/adoptable-pets.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine for cats 6 months and older, FeLV testing for cats under 6 months, FeLV+FIV testing for cats 6 months and older, and treatment for fleas, worms, and other common parasites.
