This sweet, spotted young girl is Blackjack. From her unique markings to her inquisitive eyes, there is something captivating about Blackjack. This girl was living outside with little to no human interaction. She is making progress, but will need time and consistent attention to show her full potential. Blackjack absolutely LOVES to play and is often batting around her toys and showing her silly side. Blackjack seems to really like other cats. We think she would love to live with another friendly, playful kitty. Blackjack is looking for a patient, understanding person who will set her up to succeed by slowly acclimating her to her new home. Shelter staff are happy to discuss acclimation more with potential adopters. Blackjack is estimated to be 1-2 years old. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Friends of Exeter Animals's Adoption Policy

The Exeter Animal Shelter does not do same day adoptions. In order to adopt there is a fee, but for a lifetime of happiness its worth it. Adoption fee is $75 for spayed/neutered pets. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. Please visit the shelter and apply in person after meeting the pet you wish to adopt. If you have any questions about the animals available at the shelter, please stop in to speak with one of the Animal Control Officers, or call the shelter at 401-294-2754.
