Meet Blackie! Approximately born around 12/2021<br/>Blackie is Tango and Tabby's brother. The 3 of them were surrendered after their owner passed away. Blackie is much less social than his two siblings. He is going to need a home who can give him plenty of time to warm up, and not push his boundaries too much. Blackie has gotten a bit better with affection lately (after months of trying to pet him). Blackie would be a perfect addition to a calm home, that has patience for an “angry” kitty like him. Blackie's brother did test positive for FeLV while their sister tested negative. Blackie will need to be tested, especially if there are other cats in the home. At this time we have been trying to work with him on socializing with petting and taking treats.<br/><br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our Adorable Adoptables from the Auglaize County Humane Society. Once completed, if/when you are approved, we will call and set up an appointment time with you.<br/><br/>The $75 adoption fee includes all initial vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, and a deworming. We are a BEST MATCH facility. We try to match the pet’s personality and needs with the family’s needs and lifestyle to increase the likelihood of a lifetime happy relationship for the whole family. The online application we provide on our website, achs-pets.com, is a preliminary application. We will check the veterinary information of the applicant’s other current animals as well as any past animals they have had in the last 7 years. We also get the landlord permission to have pets if the applicant is a renter.
