Blackfoot - ADOPTION PENDING!'s Story

Meet Blackfoot, a good looking black panther kitty who was found with a number of other kitties in a mobile home park. A resident at the park had been feeding them but the care of the ever growing cat population was becoming too much.

Blackfoot is acclimating to his new temporary home. He presents as shy but he is one sweet guy. For now, you may find him in a hidden bed but just give him a few pets and he leans in anxiously awaiting more. Petting also leads to purring. Blackfoot will need an adopter willing to give him a little time but there is so much to work with that we believe he will come around once he feels safe and loved.Blackfoot would do best with a single adopter or a couple. A family with much older respectful kids may also be a possibility. So far Blackfoot seems to be doing well with his roomies, too.

We believe that kittens are happiest when they have another kitty to play with so Blackfoot will need to be adopted with another kitten here like Cheyenne his sibling or already have a young playful cat at home.

Blackfoot has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Blackfoot has an approximate birthdate of 07/15/2025. His adoption fee is $120.

If you are interested in Blackfoot or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
