His favorite hobbies include napping, lounging, and finding the coziest spot in the house to spend most of the day. If you're looking for a low-maintenance companion who enjoys a peaceful home, Bjorn may be your perfect match. He's not much of a cuddler and isn't interested in sitting on laps or being carried around, but he does enjoy being near his people. One of his favorite forms of affection is a good brushing with a boar bristle brush & it might just be the quickest way to win him over!<br/><br/>Bjorn is incredibly food motivated. Treats are the way to his heart, and if he had his way, he'd happily eat half of his daily calories in snacks. He's smart, easy to reward, and always eager to see what goodies you have.<br/><br/>Bjorn would likely do best in a home without dogs. At the vet, he was very uncomfortable around them, and they seem to make him anxious. His feelings about other cats are... complicated. He's happily ignored some cats, tolerated others, and strongly disliked a few. Overall, he doesn't seem to seek feline companionship, so he'd probably be happiest as an only cat or with a very mellow, respectful feline after proper introductions.<br/><br/>During playtime and petting, Bjorn can get a little mouthy. He seems very aware of where hands are at all times, which makes us suspect he may have been encouraged to play with hands in the past. Because of this, he'd do best with someone who uses toys instead of hands for play and understands feline body language and boundaries. Dont worry, if you need tips on this, we are happy to educate! <br/><br/>Bjorn isn't a velcro cat, but he's a wonderful companion in his own quiet way. If you appreciate cats with independent personalities and are happy to let them show affection on their own terms, Bjorn could be a great fit.
