Bisque's Story
Poor Bisque has had a rough start! She had shown up at a feeding station outside a soup kitchen in Buffalo. She was hungry, pregnant and tired! She gave birth to four tiny babies but lost one immediately. She was a kind and loving mom to the remaining three and raised them up big and strong!
But unfortunately Bisque's bad luck wasn't quite over! When she was vetted, she tested positive for FIV Not uncommon among cats surviving on the street, FIV is a virus that affects a cat's immune system. Cats can live a normal life with FIV, but they may be more prone to infections or dental issues down the line. They are not likely to spread the virus to existing household cats.
Bisque is a mellow, sweet and gentle cat. She does well with other cats and will likely do fine with dogs as well.
