Biscuit's Story

Hi, my name is Biscuit. I was found outside a condo complex with my babies. Two of them climbed into a car and were accidentally driven away, and no matter how hard the nice human looked, they couldn't be found. She was devastated, but she was able to save me and my baby Gravy. Gravy has since been adopted, and now I'm the one waiting for my forever home. Shelter life is really tough for me. When I was outside, I was very loving and affectionate, but life was stressful with so many unfixed cats around who would fight me. Because of that, I'm a bit unsure around other cats now, and being in a busy shelter makes it hard for me to show my true personality. But I know I can be that sweet, confident girl again. I just need a calm, safe space and a patient human who understands that not every cat thrives in a shelter environment. I have started approaching humans for pets and attention and I'm seeking out my forever human. I'm ready to love and be loved -- I just need the right person to take me home and help me shine again.

Cozy Cat Cottage Adoption Center's Adoption Policy

All adopters must be 21 years of age and fill out an adoption application. A valid drivers license or government ID is required. An interview with an adoption counselor is mandatory to discuss the information on your application as well as to make sure the cat(s) you are interested in are a good fit. Once approved, fees are to be paid via cash or check and you must have a carrier to transport you new family member(s) home.
