Biscuit's Story

Meet Grayson & Biscuit: A Gentle Bonded Pair Ready to Blossom!

If you have a quiet home, a heart for rescue, and the rewarding patience it takes to win over a shy cat, Grayson (2.5 years old) and Biscuit (3.5 years old) are waiting to meet you. These wonderful boys have had a bit of a long journey to get here, and they didn't always get the quiet, focused socialization they needed in their past environments. Since arriving into our care, they have been working hard on learning that humans can be trusted. While they are still a bit hesitant and gaining their confidence, these sweet boys have come a remarkably long way and are fully ready to find their forever home together with an experienced cat owner who can continue helping them blossom. Once they feel safe, their true personalities shine: both boys are incredibly friendly, active, and playful! They get along great with other cats and are good with gentle, cat-friendly dogs, making them a fantastic addition to a peaceful household. Because they are still gaining their footing in the big wide world, they would do best in a calm environment with older, respectful children ages 12 and up who understand how to be gentle and patient as the boys settle in. Grayson and Biscuit will absolutely need their own dedicated "safe room" for their first few weeks in a new home. This transition period is incredibly important for shy cats. Giving them a smaller, predictable space allows them to decompress without feeling overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and smells of a whole new house. It gives them a secure home base where they can establish a routine, get used to your voice, and realize they are safe. Once they conquer their safe room, they will be ready to conquer the rest of your house--and your heart! If you are ready to open your home to a truly rewarding journey, Grayson and Biscuit are ready to become your best friends. Their pair adoption fee is $450.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment.

Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats!
