Birdie (fostered in Bellevue)'s Story

Birdie is a sweet senior lady who has been through a lot, and the shelter environment feels overwhelming for her. She's blind in one eye, easily startled, and still trying to understand that she's safe. Even so, this brave girl is slowly beginning to open up.
With treatment for high blood pressure and hyperthyroidism, and now that her medications are keeping her stable, Birdie has started exploring her space, showing us little glimpses of her wise gentle soul.
Her favorite place in the world is a warm lap. The moment she's held and softly petted, her whole body relaxes. She melts into the comfort of human touch, trusting just a little more each day.
Birdie is searching for a quiet, loving home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe, cherished, and unhurried.

The adoption fee is $75 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.

We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday!!
