Birdie's Story

Meet Birdie, a sleek little all-black kitten with a huge personality, an even bigger social calendar, and absolutely no interest in playing hard to get. Birdie is outgoing, affectionate, playful, and firmly convinced that everyone she meets is simply a best friend she hasn’t gotten around to playing with yet.

But really, Birdie can introduce herself better than anyone:

"Hi HI! My name is Birdie, and I am soooo glad to meet you! I’m a little girl with mad girl energy, and I looove to play and snuggle. You should play with me, because I looooove playing, and you look like just my type."

Birdie approaches life at full speed. Toys? Yes. Chasing things? Absolutely. Wrestling with a feline friend? Sign her up. Playing until her little kitten battery finally runs out? That’s the goal. And once it does, Birdie is more than happy to switch gears and become an affectionate little snugglebug, complete with a very impressive purr and kisses for your nose.

Because Birdie is a very social little girl and feline companionship is an important part of her happily-ever-after, she needs to be adopted into a home with another friendly cat to be her playmate and companion. Even better, she can go home with her best friend, Potato (check out her profile too!). Birdie and Potato already make a wonderful pair and would be delighted to continue their adventures together

And Birdie would like to make one final pitch:

"How about you let me come home with you so I can purr and give you kisses on your nose in between all the times we’re playing? That would be soooo cool! Do you have a bed? A couch? A toy or ten? Maybe fifteen? PERFECT."

If you think Birdie would be perfect for you, reach out to us! Adoption@acatsliferescue.or
