Binx's Story

Binx started out as a community cat, until one day he wandered into an open door and decided to settle. But sadly after several months his new family was unable to keep him.

Binky Boo is quite the character! He seems standoffish at first, but as soon as you start petting, he leans in hard! He loves snuggles and good scritches, but has also been caught zooming like a maniac when he thought no-one was looking.

And he's a talker! He's very observant of the world around him and likes to watch the goings-on. We have not tested Binx with young children, but he did well in his previous home with kids as young as 8.

He is very bonded to his "fur sister" and would love a mellow best friend. There are several cats living in his foster home, and he doesn't mind them too much, but he's definitely slow to warm up to new critters.

We also have 4 dogs of various sizes and energy levels, and while he doesn't enjoy the crazy ones, he has been known to snuggle up with my chihuahua on occasion.

We think the perfect home would be inside only, with not too many roommates at the start. He had a small issue with the litter box, but having him neutered and switching to a top-entry box has been a game changer! No problems with this today.

Binky is a sweet young man who's been through some stuff... but we think he's going to make the perfect soul-cat for some lucky person. If you want a new best friend who will love you with all his heart, that's our Binky Boi.
