Binx's Story
Binx, born in 2025, is a tall, dark, and devastatingly handsome gentleman with a coat so soft it almost seems suspicious. Like… are we *sure* he isn’t secretly made of velvet? One pet quickly turns into five, then ten, then a full investigative petting session just to confirm how ridiculously soft he actually is.

Our boy Binx hasn’t quite decided that shelter life is his vibe. The noise, the hustle, the constant activity—it’s all a bit much for a sensitive little prince. He’s had a tricky time settling in here, but luckily the lovely people who brought him to us gave us the inside scoop on who Binx really is when he’s at home and feeling like himself.

And Home-Binx? An absolute sweetheart.

He loves pets. He loves laps. He loves Churus with the focus and determination of a tiny, snack-motivated athlete. He’s even been known to roll over and offer up a nice belly for rubbing, which is a bold and honorable move in the world of cats. And when he’s happy, his purr cranks up like a full-size engine. We’re talking motorboat levels of rumbling here.

Binx also came to us with his sister, Winifred. They’re not what we’d call bonded, but they get along very well and clearly enjoy each other’s company. If someone happened to fall in love with both of them (and honestly… we wouldn’t blame you), they certainly wouldn’t mind going home together.

Right now Shelter-Binx is still figuring things out, but we have very high hopes. Once he lands in a calm home with cozy blankets, loving humans, and a reliable Churu delivery system, we fully expect him to blossom into the purry, cuddly lap cat he’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a ridiculously handsome black cat who runs on snacks, affection, and a surprisingly powerful internal engine, Binx may very well be your guy.
