Binx's Story

Let’s meet Binx!

Binx is a distinguished gentleman, estimated to be around 5–7 years old. He started life as a street cat until we trapped him, got him fixed, and quickly realized he was way too friendly for outdoor life. From there, he headed into foster care—and that’s where his story really began.

During his time in foster, we discovered Binx had a few medical needs that required treatment. He is FIV + and missing most of his top teeth, but don’t let that fool you—it doesn’t slow him down one bit! This boy absolutely LOVES to eat (soft food is his favorite!).

Binx can be a little shy at first, but he warms up once he feels safe. He’s been getting used to being around kids and is doing phenomenal. He’s also shown interest in other kitties, and doesn't seem to mind dogs with proper introductions.

Binx’s personality highlights:
•Super affectionate
•Best biscuit maker around
•Loves being brushed
•Super chatty and happy to tell you all about his day

Binx would thrive in a quiet, loving home where his family is willing to give him a few days to adjust and show him just how loved he is.

Binx is:
• Neutered
• Up to date on vaccines
• Dewormed
• On flea prevention
• FIV+ / FeLV-
• Microchipped

If you’re looking for a sweet, talkative, affectionate companion with a heart of gold, Binx may be your perfect match.

Approved applications are required to adopt. Two Black Dogs Foundation's Adoption Policy
All adopters MUST fill out an application. We do not respond to inquiries submitted through PetFinder. If you have questions about a specific animal feel free to email us, or send us a message on Facebook. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. If you are approved to adopt a member of our team will contact you. Meet and greets are set up by appointment only after you’ve been approved. In most cases you are allowed to take your new pet home after your meet and greet, unless the animal is too young to be spayed/neutered, in which case you will sign up to foster-to-adopt. We do not hold animals so please do not apply or set up a meet and greet unless you are ready to leave with your new pet. Any vetting done at your own vet clinic will be at your own expense. Spay/neuter included in adoption fee must be done by one of our local partner vet clinics, and adopter is responsible for arranging transportation. All animals adopted through TBDF are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and parasite free and up to date on their preventions. All cats and kittens are FiV/FeLV tested, all dogs over 6 months of age are heartworm tested and treated if positive.
