Brown County Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters must a fill out our adoption application that includes listing a vet reference, personal references, questions about previous owner relinquishments, current pets and other family members in the home, provide landlord information if renting and other important questions. Once their information has been verified, we go through applications to determine which home is most suitable for the pet and set up a trial meet and greet. If all goes well, the adopters fill out the adoption contract, pays the fee and they can take their new family member home!
