Hi there… my name is Billy Butcherson! <br/>I’m a very handsome brown tabby with a cute little face to match. My story starts a bit spooky, I was found outside, all alone, living in a cemetery around Halloween. I was cold, afraid, and really just looking for someone to love me. When I first came to the sanctuary, I didn’t trust anyone. I had a lot of feelings and didn’t quite know what to do with them yet.<br/><br/>But with time, patience, gentle voices, lots of love (and yes… plenty of food), I learned that people can be kind. I learned how good it feels to be loved. I’m still a shy guy, and my future family will need to understand that and let me go at my own pace, but once I feel safe, I truly shine.<br/><br/>I love head scratches and chin scratches, curling up in cozy beds, and watching the world from my favorite cat TV hidey-hole. Other cats are my comfort zone, I adore snuggling with them and playing with my feline friends. Toys are fun, but lickable treats? Those are the fastest way to my heart and help me come out of my shell.<br/><br/>I may be a little timid at first, but I’m gentle, sweet, and full of quiet love just waiting for the right person to give me a chance.<br/><br/>You can come meet me any day between 1–5pm. I’ll be the handsome tabby watching you shyly, hoping you might be my forever human. <br/><br/>I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.<br/><br/>I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.
