Billy (Billet Steel Flywheel)'s Story

Billy is a small brown-and-white tabby with the soul of an awkward middle schooler and the body of a forever kitten. He may be fully grown, but he missed the memo and decided to stay pocket-sized.

Billy believes in making memorable first impressions. Instead of saying hello like a normal cat, he just might give you a little hiss. Not because hes angry, it's just... apparently his greeting. Think of it as his version of Nice to meet you. Once you earn his trust, Billy transforms into a professional lap origami artist. He doesn’t just sit on your lap, he somehow folds himself into it like a furry pretzel. Bonus: he is incredibly silky, so you will spend an unreasonable amount of time petting him. He likes to be out and about and in the thick of things and enjoys birdwatching.

Which brings us to one important rule: do not stop petting Billy without filing the proper paperwork. If you quit too soon, he gently nibbles your hand as a reminder that your shift is not over yet. Billy is also an absolute dream for nail trims. Seriously. If you have ever wrestled a cat over clipping claws, Billy is here to restore your faith in feline cooperation.

As for other cats? Billy's attitude is best described as decorative appreciation. He seems to like them the way people like throw pillows. They are nice to have around, enjoyable, but not an absolute necessity. So if you have a resident cat who might like a companion who is not a pest, you might think about Billy. He is, however, afraid of kittens! Those tiny agents of chaos are so unpredictable! So he would not be a good choice if you were looking for a companion for a kitten.

Billy is a shy little guy who needs a bit of patience: he won’t be the boldest cat in the room, but if you are looking for a quiet companion with an endless supply of quirky charm, awkward moments, and lap-snuggling talent, Billy is ready to be your delightfully strange best friend. Once he decides you are his person, you will have a tiny, silky, hand-nibbling shadow who fits perfectly in your lap and your heart.

estimated DOB: 6/12/2025
