BILLIE JO's Story
Miss Billie Jo is a senior cat that has a condition known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia.Basically she has balance issues. Some cats have it worse than others where they cannot walk and some barely have any noticeable issues. Billie Jo falls somewhere in the medium range. She can use the litter box and keeps herself clean. She does need help keeping her fur brushed. She is able to eat pretty well, just needs monitored to make sure she is eating. She is wobbly, she can walk, it just takes her a bit longer to get from point A to point B. She has lived with other cats, her siblings and is bonded with Betty Jo, so they must be adopted together. This sweet, friendly girl needs an inside only home and maybe a little help sometimes, but with her personality, she is worth it!The Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 453 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 12pm - 5pm and Saturday 12pm - 4pm. Closed Sundays. Contact the Adoption Center directly at 828-456-5338 ext. 2 or send an email to adoptapet@haywoodcountync.gov.
