Billie's Story

Billie is the definition of a gentle, loving soul. Once she feels safe, she absolutely melts into affection, climbing into your lap for head scratches, purring contently, and even coming running when she knows it’s time for love. She truly adores her people and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.

Billie can be a little shy at first and may get nervous in new situations. She’s the kind of girl who needs a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space to open up at her own pace. When she’s unsure, she won’t lash out, no biting or scratching, she’ll simply find a cozy spot (usually under a pillow!) to hide until she feels safe again.

Her story is one of resilience and trust. Billie was found hiding in a car engine, covered in oil and grime, with her tail and back legs needing to be shaved. Despite everything she had been through, on her very first day in a safe home, she curled up in loving arms, scared but purring, clearly grateful to finally be safe.

Now, she’s ready for her forever home, one filled with kindness, patience, and lots of love. In return, Billie will give you her whole heart.

If you're interested in meeting Billie you can contact Nicole at 360-941-6763, or meet her at Petco in Redondo Beach Saturday or Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
