Bill's Story
Bill is an all black, short haired, 2 year old male cat who was living with a group of feral cats. He was trapped and brought to be neutered and was going to be returned to his home as he was also thought to be feral. Turns out he’s not! It only took a day to suspect he wasn’t like the others but it took a fair amount of time for him to trust the humans again. He now purrs like a champ when you scratch starting from his head and go all of the way down his back to his tail. He greets you with his tiny hoarse meow when it’s mealtime and catches the feather wand and just holds it like it’s a real bird. He also loves the fuzzy worm on a stick toy. He seems to be quite content to have left the outdoor life behind and has become a couch potato. He is good with other cats and tolerant of older respectful children but since the foster has no dogs we aren’t sure how he would do with them.
If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.
Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.
As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
