Big Momma's Story

Meet our residents- Big Momma

Big Momma is one of 13 cats & kittens we rescued from an eviction situation in Union County. The cats were coming and going from a house that was... well, I threw out my shoes. Miraculously, given the conditions, most were thankfully in good health. We were able to remove so many cats so quickly thanks to amazing fosters, as well as neighbors willing to go the extra mile to help, including feeding the cats, trapping, and vet transports. It's amazing what can get done when people are part of the solution!

Big Momma is a pretty swirl tabby who is on the chatty side, but otherwise pretty chill. She likes to play well enough, but isn't as eager as some of the others. She also very much enjoys attention and will seek it out, but, again, not as aggressively as some of the feline friends she came with. She's squarely in that "just right" zone all around.

Big Momma has definitely lived with other cats, and has mostly adjusted to her cafe friends, but she'd probably do best with a slow intro. She is vocal, and that includes a tendency to growl a bit, but she's all talk. Big Momma is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she tested FeLV/FIV negative. We're open 12-5 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and 10-5 on Saturday, and the cats will be ready to soak up all your attention!
