Big Kitty's Story

Big Kitty was left behind when his people moved and lived outside for several months, though he was cared for by a neighbor. He was pretty wild when he was first rescued and lived in RSL Haven's outside sanctuary for a couple of years. Eventually, he decided he wanted to be an inside cat, so he was brought into the rescue's foster room. Big Kitty loves people, but isn't friendly towards other cats, mainly because he was living outdoors and had to complete for food with other cats and animals. He does love his food and treats! He also loves to be brushed and pet. Big Kitty is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and he did test positive for FIV (feline AIDS) but lives peacefully with other cats, therefore, not an issue.
