Originally a stray, Big Joe showed up one day at a mechanic’s garage and knew he hit the jackpot when his saw the mechanic, named Joe, feeding a group of stray cats. He liked the mechanic, hanging out with his fellow felines and taking notes on car repairs, dreaming of a future in auto care. Unfortunately, he never got the hang of changing oil, but Joe the mechanic saw that this boy was definitely pet material. Joe already had a lot of cats at home, so he couldn’t take in this adorable guy whom he dubbed “Big Boy.” To make a long story short, “Big Boy” was brought to us and renamed “Big Joe” in honor of his finder. While Big Joe is initially shy, once he warms up to you, he’ll melt your heart and be the cat you always wanted. But he’ll never be able to change the oil in your car. <br/>The adoption fee includes Big Joe’s health certificate, vaccinations and neutering, along with goodies such as a carrier, his favorite toys, food, bed and blanket.<br/>Big Joe is FIV+ This is a cat-only virus and can’t be spread to humans or dogs. FIV+ cats most often live long, healthy, and relatively normal lives with no symptoms at all. FIV is not easily passed between cats. If you are looking to add an FIV+ cat to your family and you currently have cats that are not FIV+ please speak with your vet.
