Howdy, Big Chungus here to tell you my difficult story-<br/>My whole family was suddenly deported, and in the chaos, my sister Panther and I were left behind. No plan, no one to care for us, no one even knowing how long we were alone. Eventually someone found us and took us to a Houston shelter, but we were scared, confused, and completely heartbroken.<br/><br/>Despite everything I've been through, I'm the gentlest soul. I weigh a very fluffy 20 pounds, and am genuinely one of the sweetest, most loving cats ever. You really need to see me in person to appreciate just how big I am!! I was covered in mats from being left alone for so long… and I was such a perfect gentleman for the groomer. I just leaned into the kindness, like I knew someone was finally helping me. I did so well for the bath the groomer couldn't even believe it. <br/><br/>I don't really like other cats, despite having lived with my sister Panther at the shelter. I would do best in a home where I can have all the attention to myself.
