Big Boi's Story
Big Boi is a big, sturdy 14-lb kitty who is sweet, affectionate, and gentle, and craves love and attention. He lived in an apartment complex and used to walk with the woman who fed him while she walked her dog. He was mistreated by others in the complex and needed an inside home, so he was fostered for a short time. Although not a conventional lap-cat, he loves to be petted and brushed, is quiet, sleeps most of the day, and enjoys playing with toys in the evening. He has been around cats and kittens and would probably get along with dogs if introduced properly.

All cats have tested negative for FeLV/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. He has a Home Again microchip, and StreetCats will register it with his new adopter. His rabies vaccination was updated by Feline Specialties when he became a StreetCats cat because Oklahoma law requires all cats to receive an annual rabies vaccination. Additionally, Big Boi had bloodwork completed, and his teeth were scaled, polished, and fluoride applied. He tested positive for Giardia (common in outdoor cats) and was treated with Panacur and Secnidazole, and is now parasite-free. StreetCats adoption fee - $75; if the adopter is 65 years or older, the adoption fee is $65.

StreetCats is located at 3105 S. Winston Ave. (one block west of 31st & Yale) in Tulsa. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Anyone wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats, and all members who live with them must come in as well. We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.

Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc.
