True to his name, his presence is quietly impressive—soft footsteps, wide curious eyes, and a glossy midnight coat that catches the light when he peeks out from a safe spot. Big may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he shows his sweetness in subtle ways: slow blinks, cautious head bumps, and choosing to sit nearby. He does best in a calm, patient home where he can build confidence at his own pace. With kindness and time, Big will reward you with quiet companionship and a deep, trusting bond. Our adoption process may take a little time, and you might notice we ask a lot of questions. That’s because we want to ensure a lasting and happy match for everyone involved. Many of the animals who come into our care have faced hardship, uncertainty, or even the risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to give them a second chance—and to place them in loving, responsible, lifelong homes where they can finally feel safe and secure.
