Biddy's Story
Biddy is #ADOPTABLE from Bosley's University Village

Female, domestic short hair, lynx point Siamese cross

Biddy is drop dead gorgeous with exotic Lynx Point markings, deep blue eyes, and a couple adorable peach/orange toes. Biddy is the whole package, she is an elegant and classy with a secret sweet and playful side.

Biddy is currently living with unrelated cats in her foster home. She did not know any of these cats before coming into CatNap’s care. Biddy is civil and courteous with other cats and dogs but she is strong and confident and not one to be pushed around. She would stand her ground if faced with confrontation, but she has such a presence that the other cats show her respect and willingly follow her lead.

Biddy is the epitome of diamond in the rough. She could be the main character in the next Disney movie about an orphan who discovers she’s a long lost princess. Even though Biddy comes from the streets, she exudes royalty. She knew she had more to offer and as soon as she was given a chance she flourished.

Biddy is chirpy and chatty and is the first of her cat friends to greet her foster mom in the morning. She will be waiting at the door and stand at her foster mom’s feet, staring up chirping and mewing politely asking for attention. Biddy loves to be touched. She gives bum raises standing on her tippy toes for back scratches. She leans her face into your hand for cheek rubs. Biddy was not shown much (if any) love or kindness in her early life and takes some time to get comfortable with new people. She desperately wants to know you and be with you but her trust must be earned. She recognizes her trusted humans and can differentiate between those she knows and strangers. This soulful beauty won’t just throw herself at anyone and say “love me!” She needs to build a relationship before letting you into her heart.

Luckily there are many ways to Biddys heart! She loves all manner of treats and food. Temptations and meat tube treats (like Churu’s) are sure to win her over. Biddy is also a nut for catnip. She drools and rolls and rubs her face in it in ecstasy. Biddy also loves playing with wand toys and will gladly take the opportunity to release her inner kitten.

Biddy has been exposed to older cat-savvy school aged children and a quiet respectful dog and did very well. Biddy would prefer a quieter home with older children who know how to make a shy cat feel comfortable. Biddy does not yet enjoy being picked up. This is a new sensation for her and she finds it scary to have her paws lifted off the ground. Her foster mom has been teaching her that being lifted up is not scary, by gently and very briefly lifting her up and immediately placing her back down before she gets overwhelmed. Biddy is sensible and a quick learner and with patience and treats it will not take her long to get used to new things.

After adoption Biddy would do best in a smaller room during the initial “getting to know you” period, like a bedroom, office or bathroom.

Ideal Home:
Biddy needs a person or family with the patience to give this sweet girl some time open -up and fall in love with them. Treats, toys and catnip are the way to this girl’s heart. So with time, patience and the aforementioned items she will settle in and become a great companion.

Compatibility
Cats: Maybe, Biddy has a strong and confident personality so would NOT do well with other Alpha type personality cats
Dogs: Can be considered
Kids: cat savvy teens can be considered – younger kids would be too overwhelming

Age
Estimated age: 1 yr 8 months

Veterinary Information
• Biddy has been spayed
• Biddy had a comprehensive dental procedure done including numerous extractions and cleaning/polishing. She has good oral health at this time. A home oral hygiene regimen such as daily tooth brushing, oral gel, water additive or dental care products to reduce bacteria and plaque buildup is recommended. You can discuss options with your veterinarian.
• Vaccinated for FVRCP and Feline Leukemia
• Microchipped
• Deflead and dewormed
• Six weeks of pet insurance
• Health record card
• Specific diagnostic testing may also have been done as each cat's health may warrant while in CatNap's care. Should you wish to have more detailed information before submitting an application, please contact adoptions@catnapsociety.com

CatNap's Adoption Fee for Biddy is $375

The store manager will handle all aspects of the adoption process on CatNap’s behalf.

Please note: Only in person applications are accepted.

ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED
