Evie's Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

Application and adoption fee required. Must be at least 21-years old to apply. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Our adoption process takes a few days, as the application is reviewed, references are checked, and an interview with the potential adopter is conducted. A home inspection/visit is also required which is why we prefer to keep adoptions local within Hudson and Bergen counties.

To provide shelter and adoption for homeless friendly cats, and to TNR community cats that are too feral to be domesticated. We find fosters and work with all semi-feral cats on the journey to domestication and adoption and not just friendly cats (as space is available).
