Blanca is STILL living in a cage and waiting for her forever home. She was once a very happy little girl. She was adopted when she was only a little kitten by a mature woman who lived with her adult daughter who also had a dog and another cat. Blanca ONLY loved the woman who adopted her but no one else and as she got older decided that she didn’t like dogs or cats either. She would sit on her mom’s lap and always want to be with her. Sadly, her favorite person in the world fell and broke her hip and needed to go into a nursing home. The woman’s daughter had to move into a studio apartment with her dog and cat and could not take Blanca with her. <br/><br/>People have recommended that we put her down but she was no longer a friendly adoptable cat but that is not an option. Blanca is a healthy cat full of life and deserves a chance to find another person she can love and who will love her back. It will take time to gain her trust but we believe the perfect person is out there and will read this post and give her another chance at happiness. <br/><br/>Blanca is 10 years old, spayed, vaccinated and negative for FeLV and FIV. She will need an adult only home with no other pets so she can be queen of the house.
