Beverly's Story
Hi! My name is Beverly. My buddies Barney, Brady, Bryan, Betsy, and I found our way to the property of a nice couple who rescued us. (It’s pretty amazing that we all survived and stayed together, as usually only one in four kittens born outside make it to the age of six months). The couple kept us in their barn while we were being socialized. It was quite a nice barn with air conditioning and even a TV! However, even though they took great care of us, the couple could not keep us, so reached out to a shelter. They thought we deserved a chance at a forever home where we could be someone’s pet and never have to go outside again.

I really like the shelter. Food is actually brought to me instead of me having to hunt or scrounge for it. I also get lots of love from the volunteers and frequently get to explore outside my cage for up to 12 hours at a time! But what I really want is a family I get to see every day and the freedom to roam in my very own home. I am very sweet, but still a bit shy. You would need to approach me slowly at first, but when I’m used to you, I REALLY enjoy being petted. I’m young enough that you might be able to socialize me with any pets you currently have (but a slow introduction is suggested). I promise that if you take a chance on me in return you will receive a loyal and loving companion for life!

DOB 2/17/2025

If you're interested in Beverly, we ask that you please fill out a "pre-adopt application" that can be found on our website:
https//www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application. We will contact you to schedule an appointment. Thank you.
