Betty Haseman's Story

*** Please read full bio before applying for me! ***

Hi there! My name is Betty, and I’m a sleek black kitten looking for my forever lap. If you’re looking for a tiny shadow with a big heart, I’m your girl!

I was born on September 25, 2025, which makes me the perfect age to bring some serious energy and love into your home. I may be small, but I have a very busy schedule. Most of my day is spent practicing my "biscuit-making" technique—I’m a professional chef when it comes to kneading soft blankets (or your legs, if you’re available). Once the bakery is closed for the day, I love to zoom around and hunt my favorite toys.

*** Important Note About Me
I’m looking for a very special kind of home. I have feline leukemia (FeLV), which means I should not be adopted into a family that already has FeLV negative cats. If you are familiar with FeLV and have an FeLV+ kitty already, then I could join your family! If you have no cats, I promise I have enough personality and purrs to fill up your whole house on my own! To read more about FeLV, copy and past this link into your browser: https://coloradofelinefosterrescue.org/faqs-about-feline-leukemia-virus-felv/

A Few Things About Me:
Color: Midnight black (and very soft!).
Hobbies: Making biscuits, intense play sessions, and purring loud enough to shake my whole body.
Skills: I’m a very good girl! I always use my scratching post and I’m a pro at using the litter box.
The Best Part: I have a brother named Billy, and we are the ultimate dream team. I’d love nothing more than for us to be adopted together so we can keep each other company while you’re busy. We promise to double the purrs and double the fun!
Are you ready for a lifetime of head-scratches and tiny kneads? I can't wait to meet you!

Colorado Feline Foster Rescue's Adoption Policy
CFFR is an all-foster-based feline rescue, and that means all of our kittens and cats are safe and warm in foster homes at all times. If you see a kitten or cat you are interested in, submit an online adoption application by copying and pasting this link: https://www.coloradofelinefosterrescue.org/applications-availability, into your browser, then clicking the "APPLY NOW" button. (You may also apply to pre-qualify to adopt while you're waiting to find your purrfect companion.) Once your application is received, an adoption counselor will reach out to you to discuss your application either by phone, email or text. When your application is approved, the foster parent of the kitten or cat you are interested in will reach out to you to set up a virtual or in-person visit. If after that meeting, you and the foster parent agree it's a match, the foster parent will let us know, and you will pay your adoption fee online and schedule a time to pick up your new family member (or members!). Paperwork is completed via email. If you have a question at any time during the adoption process, feel free to email us at info@coloradofelinefosterrescue.org. Our adoption fees can be found on our website, www.coloradofelinefosterrescue.org All kittens/cats are vaccinated, dewormed, neutered/spayed and microchipped prior to adoption.
