Betty Boop's Story

Meet Betty Boop!

Betty Boop is a very resilient and quirky girl who has overcome a tough start in life! When we first brought her in, she could not even stand. She had been abandoned - left in a cardboard box on Mr. Grey's porch. It turned out that she was battling Toxoplasmosis and FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), but after some medical care and time, she's made an incredible recovery. We are so very happy that she is alive and enjoying life to the fullest!

Betty Boop has a few lingering brain issues as both of those diseases can affect a cat neurologically. Mostly, Betty loves to lick the air with her long pink tongue, but when you pet her, she also gives you kisses!

One of her favorite pastimes is basking on kitchen mats, where she loves soaking up warmth while keeping an eye on what's going on around her. She's also a huge food lover—treats and mealtime are the highlights of her day!

Betty Boop is a little independent when it comes to affection, and although she is not a lap cat, she enjoys being petted on her own terms.

She’s looking for a loving home where she can relax, enjoy her favorite spots, and be pampered with delicious meals. If you’re patient and ready to share some crazy moments, Betty Boop is a sweet lady who will make a lucky someone a wonderful companion!
