Are you home a lot? I'm yearning for a human companion who will pet my soft gray fur and admire my elegant, extra-long tail. I'm a healthy, sweet-natured, four year old named Betta. I love perching in windows, playing with pipe cleaners, scampering along the top of the bannister, and napping close by wherever you are. I can also help out by greeting visitors and knocking small items off your desk. I'm all about routine and know exactly when its time for my brushing (anytime!). I'd love an owner who works from home and has a steady routine. I'd prefer to be your only cat.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered.We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
