Betsy is an indoor / outdoor cat with a personality. Named after Betsy Ross, she was first spotted by her rescuing mom on the 4th of July and at that time, Betsy was living in a city drainage system - so she had a tough start. <br/><br/>This little girl is now full of grit and resilience - a little survivor with a playful, flirtatious side, a soft meow and loyal spirit, often coming when called like a devoted friend. She's not a cat that does a lot of snuggling or lap sitting. She's more of an independent girl, but she enjoys lounging around, soaking up sunbeams.<br/><br/>Betsy is a true character. She can be a bit feisty when picked up, but she makes up for it with her big heart and a sweet spirit.

Each of our cats has a specific foster caretaker who will be in touch with individuals who inquire about adopting one of our available cats. They will ask questions to understand the candidate's interests in the cat and the home life expected for them. It is our team's goal to match-make the cat to the owner and vice versa. Please note that we reserve the right to decline to make the cat available for adoption, if we do not think there is a fit. We will require that the adopter sign an adoption contract which outlines the specific expectations of their role as a cat owner.
