Bessie's Story

Bessie is an independent, self-sufficient kitty who will "help" with your laundry and entertain you while you work. Bessie can entertain herself with her favorite mouse toys and puff balls. She really loves the fishing-pole toy — so much that she gets to growling as she plays. She also loves to chase Bailey, her sister, and has always enjoyed a good sneak attack and pounce on a sibling.

Bessie’s fur is sleek and has such a cool pattern. Bonus: She enjoys being brushed! She’ll hunker down so you can pet her, and she will climb up on her foster mom's lap while she's working.

Bessie is a little cautious when meeting new friends and new environments, which is pretty typical of many kittens. She does warm up to all the things with a little time. Frankly, we don't blame her. Sometimes new situations can be pretty scary!

Bessie’s adoptive home will need a younger kitty friend with whom she can work through her kitten energy. Her siblings, Bailey and Baxter, would make great lifetime friends, if you're looking to adopt two! Because she's a little cautious, kids must be at least 8 years old. Bessie received age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV/heartworm, has been spayed, and is litterbox trained. She and her siblings were born in May 2025 (estimated) and came to us from a TNR colony in Marysville. (The colony has been fully TNRed.) Bessie is now ready to find her furever home where she can earn her keep with chores that she'll definitely complete!

Questions?
