BERT's Story

BERT - A chatty boy with a heart of gold!
D.O.B. 07/04/2023

- Male
- Brown Tabby
- Domestic Short Hair
- Neutered
- Microchipped & Dewormed
- FIV & FeLV Negative
- Vaccinated for Rabies & FVRCP (at appropriate age and weight; if adopted before this, vaccines are adopter’s responsibility)

Meet Bert, a three-year-old social butterfly who has a whole lot to say and even more love to offer! The moment his humans walk through the door, Bert comes running to the kitchen and will meow away for an hour, as if he's catching you up on every important detail of his day. This talkative tabby loves to supervise everything and everyone in the house, keeping a watchful eye on his domain and trying to convince anyone who'll listen that he is absolutely starving (don't be fooled – he's just very passionate about mealtime)!

Bert adores being petted and cuddled, but he's a bit like a toddler when it comes to affection – he wants it on his terms and can get overstimulated quickly. He'll happily headbutt and purr up a storm, but he has limits, and respecting those boundaries is key to a happy, harmonious relationship with this guy. He may not be an all-day-cuddle kind of cat, but the attention he does want, he wants all to himself!

Bert would do best with a laidback furry companion who isn't looking to steal the spotlight. He is good with other cats as long as they’re not constantly seeking his attention. He hasn’t been tested with kids or dogs. This chatty, confident boy needs a home where he can be the star of the show, sharing his big purr-sonality (and even bigger opinions) with someone who appreciates a cat who always has something to say!
