Berry's Story
Berry is a three-year-old domestic short hair with the kind of looks that turn heads everywhere he goes. When he was rescued as a tiny kitten, he was sick with a bad URI and eye infection, and no one knew what to expect. But after some much-needed medical care and a lot of love, he blossomed into a stunning boy with one ocean-blue eye and one gorgeous green eye—his own natural masterpiece. We once thought he might be a Turkish Angora, but honestly, Berry is simply Berry: one-of-a-kind, impossible to label, and absolutely unforgettable.

Berry is a total sweetheart and proudly clingy in all the best ways. He loves people and will rub against you, reach out with his little paw, and gently pat you like, “Hey… excuse me… I require pets.” He’s laidback, a certified couch potato, and happiest snoozing in a circular bed or on the tallest cat tower. But he also has a silly streak—every now and then he gets the zoomies and plays a dramatic round of “catch me if you can,” only to flop over once he’s satisfied. He adores other cats, especially kittens, and becomes a gentle, fatherly figure. He’s also dog-friendly as long as they’re respectful, and he currently shares a foster home with both cats and a black Lab without any trouble.

Berry is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, litter trained (with a firm preference for a stainless steel litter box), and eats measured meals twice a day—because at one point he was a very fluffy little potato. He loves his water fountain and becomes kitten-like again with feathery toys or the laser pointer. Berry is affectionate, easygoing, and full of charm, and he’s ready for a forever home that will adore him for the silly, loving, odd-eyed treasure he is. He is available for adoption through ARC, and anyone interested in meeting this handsome boy can reach out at arcwithlove@gmail.com or apply directly at: https://form.jotform.com/241781276879069

ADOPTION FEE: $200
LOCATED: Newark, NJ (Ironbound Sector)
