Benny - a fun loving boy's Story

Benny is an outgoing young man who would be happy as an only kitty but has potential to live with another. As for dogs - we're not too sure about yet, at least larger dogs. We're still doing some little meets to get a better idea. He is great with all humans.

His favorite toy is a treat ball, he loves to whack it around to get the treats and looks forward to it daily. We'll send it with him when he is adopted. His other favorite activity is bird watching, he'll make funny little chirps while he watches.

Benny occasionally does that kitty nibble thing and while it's gentle - he likes my elbows for some reason :-), but it might startle a young child. He is very polite when it comes to nail clipping and was agreeable at the vets office.

He is 1 -2 years old, fixed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and weighs about 11 pounds. He consistently uses his litter box so no worries there.

Benny tested negative for FELV, positive for FIV. We are happy to explain what FIV means. The current understanding of FIV is much better understood than in past. The APL has their FIV kitties mixed in with their general population.

Please note: The adopter must agree to a screening process that includes a phone call, visit and an adoption agreement. Our goal is to find the best match for our dogs & cats and their new families, so that everyone lives happily ever after. Benny is being fostered in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Post adoption, we are here if you have questions. Of course, we hope everything works out, but we understand that sometimes the cat may not be a good fit. We will support you through any decision to return your pet to us if it doesn't work out, and will take them back into our foster program - no worries.

Contact us at: fosterparentsforpooches@gmail.com We typically respond within 24 - 48 hours. Please be patient, we have full time jobs and are busy with other rescue matters. Thank you!
