Say hello to Benji! The sweet boy!<br/><br/>Benji is approximately 10 months old. He is hands down the SWEETEST cat we have had at our rescue this entire year. Benji loves being pet and longs for scratches behind his ears and on his cheeks. <br/><br/>Benji’s favorite things in the world are other cats and playtime! He’s super laid-back and calm, but he lights up and loves to play when you bring out a wand toy or turn on Cat TV. <br/><br/>Benji gets along fabulously with other cats. It would be wonderful if he could be adopted with one of his friends at our rescue. But if you are looking to add only one cat to your home, Benji can be adopted on his own if you already have a cat, or cats, at home who enjoy the company of other cats. He truly thrives with feline companionship and needs to be in a home with other cats. Other cats also make him more confident. <br/><br/>Benji gets a little nervous with new people and when people walk toward him, but once he starts being pet, he relaxes and really loves it. Although he can be shy at first, with time, encouragement, and a person or family he trusts and spends a lot of time with, he will come out of his shell. When he opens up to you, it is SO worth it. He is a gem!!! <br/><br/>He needs a patient person who would be willing to give him a few weeks or even months to come out of his shell, if needed.
