Ben & Jerry

Ben & Jerry entered the shelter because owner threatened to “dump them in the woods.” They came in very hesitant toward humans . Especially Ben who is reserved and will tend to back up if people get too close . We don’t know what their prior experience with humans was like but we suspect they weren’t cherished family members. They have had slow and steady social progress with shelter volunteers . Jerry allows pets and can be playful . They will need a patient home and likely do best with adults and older children respectful of individual cat boundaries and preferences .
